Inauguration of the 7th All India DAD Volleyball tournament at CDA, Secunderabad by the CGDA 7th All India Defence Accounts Department (DAD) Volleyball Tournament was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Shri Sanjiv Mittal, IDAS, Controller General of Defence Accounts and Chairman, DASCB in a glittering ceremony at EME sports Centre, Secunderabad which was organised by CDA, Secunderabad on 19/06/2019. This Tournament was organised under the aegis of Defence Accounts Sports Control Board (DASCB), at Eagle Indoor Volleyball Stadium, EME sports Centre, Secunderabad from 19th to 21st June 2019. Eight team(men) from CGDA New Delhi, PCDA (P) Allahabad, PCDA (O) Pune, PCDA (SWC) Jaipur, PCDA Bengaluru, CDA Secunderabad, CDA Guwahati, CDA (PD) Meerut and six teams (women) from PCDA Bengaluru, PCDA (O) Pune, PCA (Fys) Kolkata, PCDA (BR) New Delhi, CDA Chennai and CDA Jabalpur participated in the tournament. At the inaugural function, the CGDA also felicitated three renowned volleyball players of Andhra Pradesh and Telegana state viz. Shri M Shyamsundar Rao, the recipient of Dronacharya and Arjuna awards, Smt G Mulini Reddy, the Arjuna awardee and Shri V Anjaneyulu, International Volleyball player in recognition of their contribution to Volleyball.
